About Isotex



Isotex is Regatta’s technical fabric that is both waterproof and breathable. The company also make the point that it eliminates wind-chill – hardly surprising for a waterproof fabric!

  • Isotex 5000 has a hydrostatic head of 5000mm.
    Used in the following jackets - Regatta Epoch, Reagtta Arroyo, Reagtta Harold, Reagtta Tribute, Reagtta Waxbill II


  • Isotex 8000 hydrostatic head of 8000mm – basically it is a softer fabric and is more breathable.
    Used in the following jackets - Regatta Garrison, Reagtta Bolson, Reagtta Panacea, Reagtta Graben


    • Isotex works well in use and is an economic alternative to some of the pricier breathable fabrics.

    Regatta’s lightweight breathable waterproof material is Isolite 5000 and Isolite 8000, which have similar properties to the Isotex.

    Reagtta Packaway II and Reagtta Magnitude III use Isolite 5000.
