Hostel review - Kings Youth Hostel, Dolgellau, SnowdoniaThis North Wales hostel is ideally placed for climbing Cader Idris. Kings yha is a really good walkers’ hostel. Basic accommodation at a reasonable price with friendly laid back, wardens. The setting is in idyllic woodlands a few miles from Dollgellau. In the garden is an open fireplace with seating - collect your own wood. The bedtooms in the annex are well-heated and are ensuite The kitchen is a good size although it is an awkward walk to the dining room at the other end of the hostel. This is not a swish hostel and needs a bit of maintenance here and there. However Kings YHA has a good location, friendly atmosphere and is good value. More information about KingsYHA here |
