Longstone Edge quarrying dispute goes to High Court
The long running battle over excessive qurrying in the Peak district goesto the High Court later this month.

Increased funding for Peak District National Park Authority
The Peak Park Authority have been given an inflation busting funding increase in the latest spending round.

The authority are charged with protecting and enhancing the landscape and encouraging bio-diversity in the Peak district. It is to be hoped that they will spend the money carefully.
